Shipping Policy

Thanks for ordering a BeerSki, the beer holder that straps a can to your ski pole. Here’s how shipping works so you know what to expect.

Where we ship from

Every order ships from Washington State, USA. We’re a small, inventor-owned business and we ship fast: most orders go out the same or next business day, and nearly always within 1–3 business days, even during the holidays.

United States

Shipping method: most orders ship USPS Ground Advantage with tracking. Occasionally we may use UPS or FedEx instead, and you’ll get tracking either way.

Delivery time: usually 2–8 business days after it ships.

Cost: a flat $5.73 for Standard shipping in the US, and free on US orders of $45 or more.

International

Outside the US? Please order from our official Etsy shop: beerbinding.etsy.com. Etsy collects and handles VAT for you, and Etsy’s buyer and seller protections cover your order if anything goes wrong in transit. It’s the same product, shipped by us. Our Etsy shop ships to many countries; if yours isn’t available there, email us and we’ll see what we can do.

Delivery times: international orders typically arrive in 18–25 days. International mail can take longer, though, and packages sometimes sit in customs or between postal services for a while, especially in winter. From November to February (ski season plus the holidays), delivery can take 4–6 weeks or more. Tracking often goes quiet once a package leaves the US. That’s normal and usually doesn’t mean it’s lost.

Before you reach out: please check your tracking link and wait at least 30 days from the ship date (45 days from November to February). If it still hasn’t arrived after that, email us and we’ll look into it.

Your address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout, including apartment or unit number, postal code and country. We ship to the address you enter.

  • If a package is returned to us because the address was incomplete or incorrect, we’ll gladly reship it once you confirm the right address. You’ll just need to cover the new shipping cost.
  • If a package is delivered to an incorrect address that was entered at checkout, we can’t replace it or refund it at no cost.
  • Spot a mistake? Email us right away at beerbinding@gmail.com. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll fix it for free.

Customs, duties and taxes

International orders may be charged import duties, taxes (VAT/GST) or postal handling fees when they arrive in your country. These aren’t included in our prices or shipping cost at checkout, and they’re paid by the recipient. Fees depend on your country’s rules, so check with your local customs office if you’re unsure. (Etsy may collect some taxes at checkout for certain countries.)

Lost or damaged packages

We’re responsible for your order until it’s delivered. If something goes wrong in transit, we’ll make it right.

  • Lost: if the carrier confirms a package is lost, or there’s been no tracking movement for 30 days (US) or 60 days (international), contact us and we’ll send a replacement or give you a full refund.
  • Damaged, defective or wrong item: email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo and we’ll sort it out.
  • Marked delivered but not received: check with neighbors, building management and your local post office first, then email us within 14 days. We’ll open a claim with USPS and work with you on a fair fix.

Refund Policy

Returns

We don’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, so please make sure your order is right before you check out. If you have questions about sizing, fit or which BeerSki suits your setup, email us at beerbinding@gmail.com before you order and we’re happy to help.

If something goes wrong, we’ll make it right

We stand behind every order. If your order is lost in transit, arrives damaged, is defective, or isn’t what you ordered, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right with a replacement or a refund.

How to request help

  1. Email beerbinding@gmail.com with your order number.
  2. Tell us what happened, and include a photo for damaged, defective or incorrect items.
  3. We’ll reply within a few business days with next steps. If the item can be sent back, we’ll email you a prepaid return label. For damaged or defective items, you usually won’t need to send anything back.

Time frames

  • Damaged, defective or wrong item: please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
  • Lost package: contact us once the carrier confirms it’s lost, or if there’s been no tracking movement for 30 days (US) or 60 days (international). We ship from Washington State, and international delivery can take 4–6+ weeks in winter, so please check the Shipping Policy above for normal delivery times first.
  • Marked delivered but not received: please check with neighbors and your local post office, then contact us within 14 days of the delivery scan.

Address errors

Orders shipped to an incomplete or incorrect address entered at checkout aren’t eligible for a free replacement or refund. If the package comes back to us, we’ll gladly reship it once you cover the new shipping cost.

Customs, duties and taxes

Import duties, taxes and fees charged by the destination country are the recipient’s responsibility and aren’t refundable by us.

Refunds

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take a few extra days to post it. If you haven’t seen it after 15 business days, email us and we’ll check on it.

Orders placed on Etsy

Orders placed through our Etsy shop are also covered by Etsy’s purchase protection. Please start your request through your Etsy order or message us there.

Your legal rights

This policy doesn’t affect any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

If you gift the products, you must ensure the recipient acknowledges and releases Beer Binding, LLC, from all liability.
