BeerSki FAQ

Everything you need to know before your first après-on-the-pole.

What is a BeerSki?

A ski pole beer holder. It cinches a can to your pole just below the grip, so your beer rides along on display instead of getting dented, shaken or exploded in your pocket.

Which cans fit?

The BeerSki PRO fits a standard 12oz can or a 16oz tallboy. The BeerSki Original is sized for the standard 12oz can.

PRO or Original, which should I get?

Get the Original if you want light and packable: it folds flat into your jacket pocket. Get the PRO if you want the most secure, most insulated hold, plus tallboy fit and more puncture protection.

How do I attach it, and can I drink without taking it off?

Undo both straps, slide in your can, and cinch it to your pole just below the handle. Loop the top strap around the bottom of the grip, or through your pole strap, so it stays in place. Then sip right off the pole, or pull it out with the sleeve still on so your hand stays off the cold can.

Does it work on cross-country / Nordic ski poles?

Yes. Both models use hook-and-loop straps that cinch down around the pole, so they work on cross-country poles for skate or classic. Cinch it snug just below the grip. If your poles have clip-in hand straps you can’t thread through, loop the top strap around the bottom of the grip instead. For Nordic we recommend the Original, the lightest BeerSki we make, so your poles stay light. Not sure about your setup? Email us before you order.

Can I put it on my ski boots?

Yes, it straps to your boot buckles. We recommend the PRO for boots: more padding, more protection and a more secure hold.

Does it work on a snowboard?

Yep, it’ll ride along on a binding too. But it was born for ski poles, and that’s where it looks best.

How fast do you ship?

Faster than the tram line. Every order ships from Washington State: most go out the same or next business day, and nearly always within 1–3 business days, even during the holidays. Most US orders ship USPS Ground Advantage with tracking, occasionally UPS or FedEx, and usually arrive 2–8 business days after they ship. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yep, for the Alps crew and everyone else. Outside the US, please order from our official Etsy shop: beerbinding.etsy.com. It’s the same product, shipped by us, and Etsy handles VAT and buyer protection. International orders typically arrive in 18–25 days, but from November to February they can take 4–6 weeks or more, and tracking often goes quiet once a package leaves the US. Import duties and taxes are paid by the recipient. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

What’s your return policy?

We don’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, so if you’re torn between the PRO and the Original, email us before you order and we’ll help you pick. But we stand behind every order: if it’s lost in transit, arrives damaged, is defective or isn’t what you ordered, email beerbinding@gmail.com with your order number (and a photo for damaged or wrong items) and we’ll make it right with a replacement or a refund. If the item can be sent back, we’ll email you a prepaid return label. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Is it a good gift?

It’s the gift for the skier who has everything. Stocking stuffer, secret Santa, birthday on the mountain: if they ski and they like a beer, they’ll use it every weekend.

Do you sell to ski shops?

We do. Ski shops, Nordic centers, lodges and après bars can carry BeerSki with a minimum 40% margin. See our Wholesale page.
